Thanks to being able to add community events on Connect, sales at the Chester Library's recent book sale far surpassed all results previously. We had a record number of buyers, and there was a steady stream of customers for the two days of the event (July 17 & 18). Proceeds from the sale topped what we had done in the past, and of course, the crew that worked hard to set up, categorize and label the books are elated! All proceeds go help the Friends of the Library continue to offer educational programs and materials (books, DVD's, computer access) to the public. Many thanks to everyone who pitched in to help, and thanks to Connect for helping us get this information out to the public!
