I'm amazed, but sadly not surprised, by how a legitimate grassroots movement was co-opted by so-called journalists and the mainstream media. We can all understand fiscal responsibility. No income, no outgo. What's so hard? Making things is productive, and speculating is not. The Tea Parties are about common sense; perhaps the opposite of greed. I'm delighted to see local leadership for those values.
